Is George Walker Bush nothing more than a cheap replica of a dictator?

George Walker Bush did not win the election in 2000. Katherine Harris disenfranchised an enormous amount of black voters. If your name was the same as a convicted criminal, or if your first initial, and your last name was the same, your name was pulled from the voter rolls. Many black people who were eligible to vote were actually stopped by Florida Highway Patrol and kept from being able to get to the polls.

Even after the voting was done, there were terrific flaws in the counting of the ballots. When the good guys asked for a re-count of the ballots, the bad guys refused to do it.

They, eventually took the case to George Herbert Walker Bush's appointees (The gang of five) on the Supreme Court, and they stopped the re-count, and appointed George Walker Bush as the president.

Later, after all ballots were finally counted, it was found that Al Gore got nearly 1,000,000 more votes than did the bad guys.

The same sort of shenanagans took place up in Ohio during the 2004 elections.

Just think, now the Republicans are foaming at their mouths with desire to place even more voting-fraud devices at the polls, you know, those Diebold computer touch-screen voting devices that have absolutely no paper trail, and can be easily hacked into?

This is why, even with elections, checks and balances are so very important!

No he is not cheap, he is VERY EXPENSIVE...
He is not a replica of a dictator he is a dictator and the fact that his failed policies are imploding will not deter him...meglamaniacs are like that their egos won't let then admit wrongness.

George Bush won the electoral vote in 2000. There is always voter error. As for black voters supposedly being disenfranchised en masse simply because they had the same first initial and last name as a convicted criminal, that is unfortunate, but mistakes do occur. Perhaps they should use first, middle, and last name for registration. There may be a criminal named Carl Brown, and a law-abiding citizen named Chris Brown. They will both appear as C. Brown on the forms, and thus they may be both disqualified from voting: it is up to Chris Brown to go inquire about that, however.

Also, your way of looking at things is rather silly. The supposed disenfranchisement of black voters cannot tip an election: in what state do blacks constitute a majority? Note also the Civil Rights Division found no evidence of any racial discrimination.

I would like to see some of your sources, where you got such facts from.

I totally agree with you. I wouldn't call him a "cheap replica of a dictator". He is just plain stupid. This country is in the mess it is because of the people that have wound him up in the morning with the key and let him loose to do their bidding. His father has "helped" out quite a bit. He really should not be blamed because I don't think he knows what is going on. He does and says what they they tell him to and that is the way it was planned and the way "they" wanted it..It doesn't matter who runs in the next election. Whoever it is will be better than this.

I don't care what Clinton did. He was a breath of fresh air and actually cared about this country. When Bush talks, I swear he is a wind up doll with a low battery.

You question is childish, and your understanding of this issue is clearly incomplete. You have done little or no research outside of whatever has smacked you in the face.

You completely ignore Al Gore's role in the 2000 election, you ignore the Florida Supreme Court's (unconstitutional) extension of deadlines, the (unconstitutional) recounts in only several counties in Florida, and the US Supreme Court's equal protection analysis.

Speaking of Gore, the (liberal) media did a recount in March of 2001. In any possible scenarios, Gore LOST the vote in Florida. That he got "nearly 1,000,000 more votes" is a falsehood and you know it.

There was no cheating; there was no disenfranchisement. Liberals simply hate competition and hate losing, so when you do lose, you have to fabricate stories. You are not entitled to power. EARN IT by persuading the people of your socialist ideas, which the American people consistently reject.

Now stop crying. It won't gain you any supporters.
