I spent the summer of 2003 in Albuquerque and it was absolutly beautiful. There is a lot of cool stuff to do b/c the University of NM is there. Also, the weather is so beautiful. They call NM the land of enchantment, and that is exactly what it feels like early in the morning. It may be really hot, but there is always a nice breeze. And, there are mountains around the city, and its really cool to go check them out on the weekends. Albuquerque is a very outdoorsy place b/c its so nice outside. All of the houses are average, but no one has grass in their front yard. Almost all yards are rocks. You will really like it. Have fun.

Kinda like Los Angeles but without ocean at the beach !
I would recommend a trip up to Santa Fe & Taos.
Santa Fe is to Albuquerque as San Francisco is to L.A.

My father in-law lives in Albuquerque and i visited a couple of times. I think it's a nice city. I really enjoyed shopping, they have a great mall, but i can't remember it's name. And while you're there, you should go to the zoo, i loved it, it's pretty!
