God is not part of the Republican party,Dem's, OR any party; so why are you so interested in putting the Almighty into a picture that you want to paint in a board stoke.
Certainly there is an argument to be made that good is right and just. That good and Justice is supported by the Divine concepts and principles that an all knowing God would support over and UNDESIRABLE concept of good and Justice. And thus, one should alien himself always on the best side of good and Justice.

The purpose of voting is choosing who will rule you.
If God exists, then why would he vote for someone inferior to himself?
It seems to an outsider though that some in america believe this way - that the Democrats or the Republicans are God's representatives on Earth, and whatever the other party says is from Satan.

For all Christians:
Well if you look at the way Jesus lived...give away your wealth, judge not, love thy neighbor...all seem to be relatively liberal concepts to me.
For all other religions
many of the same ideas touted in the old testament, i.e. Torah
Haven't read the Koran, not sure,
Buddhist, hmmm not really a GOD per se', but see Jesus.
Pagan, love of the earth, community family, personal responsibility....
etc. etc....
I think you get my point.
