No, they're just there to make you look more attractive!! No, I think nose-hair is there to prevent big pieces of dust etc from getting into your system when you breathe; in other words it's for your protection.

It's like a coat to help warm up the air entering your body and it is a filter to reduce stuff from entering your body. I use to think it was there to hold onto snot so that you could blow it into kleenex.
