We have well water and we have a lot of air in our pipes. We have to bleed the lines almost every day. We have a new pressure tank. Any idea how to solve this problem without calling the well people?

there could be 3 reasons for air in the pipes. 1 the water table could be low and the pump sucking air. 2 there could be a hole in the suction side of the pipe. 3 the pressure tank could have too much air in it.

Air is added to the pressure tank using a mechanical air compressor (recommended) or a HEAVY DUTY TIRE PUMP, Air does not automatically recover by itself.

WELLS HAVE A DEVICE ( LOOKS LIKE AND IS THE SAME AS THE AIR FILL VALVE ON A TIRE ) THAT CONTINUALLY REPLENISHES AIR TO YOUR PRESSURE TANK. THAT AIR BUBBLE ( COMPRESSED AIR ) IS WHAT PUSHES THE WATER INTO YOUR HOUSE! MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED, SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE GETTING TOO MUCH AIR!
