Despite age issues... I never had seen europeans drunk around Mc Donald´s.

In the Netherlands (=Europe) you can't get beer at McDonald's, apart from the ones at Amsterdam Airport.
And the only people to drink beer over there are American... go figure.

I don't think all of Europe has beer available. I didn't see any UK McDonalds with brew the last time I was there. Maybe I just didn't go to the right one.
I think you'd need to change social perceptions before you can have a beer at McDonalds in the US. We can call it McBeer.

That is unheard of here. It probably has to do with under age drinking issues, as we do have a high minimum drinking age. It has more to do with controlling people's every move rather than to teach and model good behavior. It is also quite likely that the employees would drink the beer while working, and many of them are under age.

wow, you can buy beer at McDonald's there?? I think because here you have to be 18 or 21 (i cant remember) to work in an establishment that sells alcohol, and you have to have a license to do so. McDonald's here is where a lot of high school kids work at

Simple : MacDonald's franchises do not apply for liquor licenses. Can you imagine what McDonald's beer would taste like anyway? It gives me the willies just thinking about it.

MacDonald's in America caters to youngsters, most parents here frown on youngsters having a sip or two, seeing how it is illegal and a social sin.
