I can't think of any. Please tell me why this is a problem. I voted in early voting yesterday. I purposely waited to see if I would be asked for ID and I was. So, if you are against it, tell me why?

The idea that a state ID that costs $ is discrimination does not fly with me. Sorry.

I have no problem with it. It would actually make voting as fair as it possibly could be and limit voting to legal voters.

There are many people, mostly lower income, who don't drive and who probably don't have a drivers license or passport. They can get in many states a photo ID but they are not free. To force someone to pay a fee in order to vote was deemed unconstitutional over 40 years ago when poll taxes were outlawed. If the Id's can be provided at no cost to the voter then I would have to problem with it.
RESPONSE-It doesn't matter if it flies with you or not. Having to pay money in order to vote amounts to a poll tax and as I have pointed out, that is illegal.

I am not against it. Even here in liberal la-la land(Connecticut) we have to show a photo ID in order to vote. Is it really THAT difficult to prove who you say you are? Geezus! Even my son has a photo ID - given to him by his school. A 15 year old has an ID, but an adult doesn't? There's something WRONG with that.

Since they will be free and in some places, delivered to your door it would discriminate against the poor because, because, because..........er, uhm.....well it just would!
