First make sure you have installed the filters on all your phones, satelites, cable boxes, and security alarms. Second get regular phones. There is something about the cordless phones that interfer with DSL modem connections. Third as soon as you can get a different provider for DSL bellsouth tends to be down more doing updates then anyone else I've been with including MSN, AOL, and earthlink.

I've had that problem for a while too, but our phone broke down shortly after, so we replaced it and the problem never occured again.
But to answer your question, I think your best bet is to try changing the frequency of your telephone. Most cordless phones have a channel selection button (different channel means different frequency, just like your radio). If that doesn't work then I guess you'll have to call customer support from your DSL company.

DSL involves installing a phone line. The options that don't require a phone line are wireless wide area networking (requires a cellular data modem, and service contract ), Cable internet ( requires cable TV and special modem), and powerline internet (requires a special modem and in only available in a few areas). Also 3G WiFi may be an option. Since WiFi has a limited range, this is only useful with a laptop or handheld computer.

Try changing the channel, on your cordless phone. You should be able to use the phone and your computer, without any interference. I remember reading something about it in my users manual, from my cordless phone. When I use my cordless phone, the phone will automatically find the clearist channel to use..

You should have gotten a filter to put on the phone line. Call Bell South.

That should not be happening. You need to speak with your DSL provider, it sounds like a problem with the wiring.
