Cradle of filth is F****** awesome! Dimmu borgir is freaking awesome too. Cradle of filth is the one of the best black metal bands in the world! My friend David actually met them at a signing in atlanta! He got his dvd Heavy Left Handed And Candid autographed! He's sooooo freaking lucky!!!! He got a hug from the whole band! Yay!

Well they are fantastic. I like them both, but dimmu borgir a bit more. My favourite black metal band is Children of Bodom (well not exactly Black Metal but very relative) and Bathory. Those guys create really awsome music, what else to say. Generally all these european metal bands, from Iron Maiden to Bathory are perfect cause they know how to create MUSIC and have the European culture wich makes their music so beautiful. Oh, Blind Guardian is also a fantastic band but it's Power Metal not Black.

I love blackmetal 2, both dimmu borgir and cradle of filth r nice.i listened 2 the nuCradle album and all i`ve got is insane!do u know Wolven Ancestry ?! they r nuBand (melodic black metal)Try it! It works!

Anyone who considers themself a fan of black metal would know that Cradle and Dimmu ARE NOT BLACK METAL! Not only that, but those two bands suck quite a bit.
I will do you a favor and list some REAL black metal and maybe you can start enjoying good music.

Cradle of Filth have been getting steadily better for years and deserve all the success they are now getting.
Dimmu are also a very impressive band (I don't know them quite as well).

Ok Cradle of Filth is one of the best bands in the world. I freakin love them. I don`t know about dimmu borgir. but good taste in music. awsome band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was unemployed for 10 years - & then they signed me off sick! Gives me more time on here, though. As for the money, you kinda get used to eating pizzas, etc. if you know what I mean.

Living Colour is the only Black Metal band that ever mattered. I'd give ya Sevendust , but that's only one black guy there.

they're great i even have them for friends on myspace.
if you like black metal i think you might like psyclone nine they're black metal/industrial/electronica
their best song is "parasitic"(they're on myspace)
