There is a great one in Wallingford. Its the Trail of Terror. It is anywhere from a 45-1 hour walk through the woods. It is a professionally done haunt. You start off in about a group of 15-20 and go through it on your own and at your own pace. I went with a group of about 10 friends last year. And I wound up losing 8 of them and had to meet them back at the car. Plus the proceeds go to the American Red Cross. Be prepared to wait in a line that is well worth it.

Check out the one at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT. Went once a few years ago, was SO scary I wont go back! :) It lasts about 30 minutes and you get admission to the amusement park. HIGHLY reccomend.
