I think that these magazines are a complete waste of ink. they're directed toward 8-12 year old kids and talk about 'the latest hotties' and stuff like that. What do you think? What are some better magazines for girls this age?
(For example, girls this age should be reading Girl's Life or American Girl.)

i havent heard of those but man we are making girls grow up too fast yes they think of boys and "hotties " but do we need to encourage it WHY!! at that age i was reading - not mags but i loved "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" judy blume- but I LOVED to read..

I've never heard of them but it sounds like they are trying to make the girls grow up before they're ready to.

i have an 8 year old and if those magazines are all you say they are i'm glad she doesn't know about them
