My gay friend told me that once he had feelings for me, thought I was the one, but knew I couldn't make him that happy.
Do gay men have feelings for women?
Does this make him bi at all?
Just wondering

I think love leeps those bounds if the feelings are strong then, yes a gay man could love a woman. Just as a lesbian could love a man if that need a rises.

I see where you are coming from, and you're right, you're not generalizing. But I don't think that it can really apply to a group of people. Everyone is there own person and we all tend to want what WE want. So a person can have equal of both, want more sex, or more romance. It all depends on the person. But if I had to take a guess I would say that gay guys tend to want more romance, because studies show that gay guys tend to have the brains of straight women, and vice-versa goes for lesbians.

He may or may not be Bi that is not the issue.
He was being honest with you at the time and himself.
If we are all honest here, we all think highly of different people-male or female makes no difference.
As some folks have stated here: gay men and women can & do have feelings for the opposite sex but that doesn't mean they want a relationship with them. Then again, maybe some do.

HI, yes a gay man can have feelings for a woman, remember he is still male, just like a gay female they can still have feelings for a male, some just stay with there same sex and some just go with both, yes that would be bi, you wouldn't be happy dating a bi, the best thing to do is just be friends, they would be one of the best friends you would have,
good luck

I have a very beautiful friend who I love and he is gay. We have a little "spark" thing going on all the time but I think its just a "flirty" thing.

I know what he is attracted too but I think gay men still find women attractive but that doesnt mean they want them in a sexual way. Besides gay men are way FUN!!!

Yes I am a fag hag as Rex would call me and proud of it! LOL

yes gay men have feelings for women. I have a girl who i consider my best friend, she is wonderful, she is a lesbian and i am gay, I would never have sex with her, and she would not have sex with me. yes we have both had men and women be fore and I love her very much. She loves me very much and our friendship would probably be ruined if we had sexual relations. I respect her for who she is and would never do anything to hurt the relationship we have.

No, it doesn't make him bi, it makes him human.

Yes, gay men can have feelings, but they aren't the same as "attraction." So, I'd simply be complimented that he thought so well of me, but don't push the issue. He's right, you know.

what is his definition of feelings?
I have several female friends who I "love", (care for, talk to, have over for parties) but to have feelings of a sexual nature,
Nope not in the cards
unless of course they, get rid of the Teets, and grow a D*CK
