Oh all the time when I was little. I used to hide under the blankets with a flashlight and read until I fell asleep. Once when I was a little older, my Dad came in to say goodnight. You know how when you look at a light, and then look away, you see a black spot? Well, I looked up to say goodnight to him, and got momentarily blinded by my light. When I looked back down at my book, there was this big black spot and I thought it was an enormous bug. I freaked out, screamed, and threw the book across the room. My Dad was just like, "uhh... sorry to bother you," and he left.

Yes, yes and yes.

Night is actually the most appropriate time to read as there are less distractions so the mind can focus and concentrate. However nighttime is the time when the brain wants to rest and thus may tend to drift away if the reading can't keep your interest!

l always fall asleep if I try to read.

Really.

This is why I don't like to read much; it makes my eyes heavy and the next thing I know hours have been wasted.

All the time. Not usually because it's boring but just because it's always what I do at night before I go to sleep.

Yes I have and it's always due to sitting up too late reading the book.
