When picking a choice, you need to give yourself accurate answers to these questions which must be Yes or No:

1. Am I personally inwardly happy with this decision ?
2. Can I accept absolute responsibility for this decision now or in the future ?
You need to do this because it is your life, to me there is no decision that is right or wrong, it is just the way I answer questions to my decision.
so if your answers are Yes; definitely you are right, take it.

"Selfdependent"? That is understandable with "I want to get a job", and even "not get married". But if you still want to "stay with my parents"--that sort of negates the "selfdependent" part, doesn't it?

Wonderful little thing I caught long ago on the cartoon flick of Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. Rudolph is wanting to escape the humiliation of his red nose and runs into an elf who has a vocational humiliation that he is escaping. Both say they want to be independent, then one says, "Say, why don't we be independent together?" and off they go.

You may be partly right, for right now. We change and you might change your mind. Don't go carving it in stone just yet.

There's nothing wrong with staying with your parents as long as you have a job and don't mooch off them. Be sure to contribute some $ towards the bills and clean up after yourself.

Hmmm... You want to be self-dependant, but stay with your parents? Something doesn't quite make sense there. If you truly want to be self-dependant, you need to get a job and get out on your own. Getting married is a choice you will have to make on your own. I'd wait to get married until I learn to be self-dependant first, though, if I were you.

I don't know the circumstances with your parents for only having one child. Usually they grow up either selfish or extremely needy of others. What will happen when you become elderly and need family? ...no kids, no husband, no siblings......?????? Who will you leave your $$$ to?.....the state?
