This is a huge subject to cover. Are you looking at particular effects on older or younger people or groups like families or communities eg sexual abuse in Catholic Church?

I have recently completed the social work degree and would strongly advise you narrow it down a bit and focus on a particular form of abuse and its affects on the people and communities it is taking place on/in or look at a partular group of individuals eg older people and the range of abuse and effects it has on them.

You risk floundering otherwise and I do wonder if you fully understand the question as you seem to have written the headings straight from the assigment description, without fully understanding what they mean or their implications.

I experienced name calling, bullying, mental abuse, an attempted physical abuse, and then I attempted to commit suicide at the age of six years and eight months by forcing myself to fall off a window ledge with the window closed behind me forty feet above concrete.
I have written a chapter in my auto biography that covers it in detail. I almost cried when I recalled the detail as it changed the sort of person I might have been.
Even today at 83 I keep my self fit enough to deal with any attacker, even though I know it would be mine and his last breath. My wife knows of my intentions to protect her and my limited strength leaves me no alternative.
Send me your e mail address if you would to communicate.
PS I can answer your other two questions as well.

I take it you are referring to child abuse and domestic abuse combined?
Its a huge question to answer, but there is a great book that I found really helpful...

Children's Needs- Parenting Capacity
(Impact of parental mental illness, problem alcohol and drug use, and domestic violence on children's development.)
Also try
The Child in Mind (A Child Protection Handbook)
Both books give loads of info on the impact of different types of abuse.
Failing that, check out the women's aid website and the Working together to safeguard children websites.
(Will look for the links for you!)
