I didn't used to be. But I have learnt that when people leave you they are not really gone. They are just away. I know that sounds weird.
But there is always email, or the odd phone call. And if the friendship ends I hope them happiness. And if someone dies, I believe in a afterlife so I feel they are still alive somewhere beyond mortal contact. I still feel sad, but it isn't consuming.

It can be difficult, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do. I am still having problems letting go of the Mets loss last night. Painful experience to see!
