No.

I think the truth is actually quite magnificently lit.

We just don't like to look at it directly, it hurts our eyes.

Basically, the truth is almost always known. We choose not to take it into consideration.

The truth can be obscured very easily. Neglect, a desire to avoid it or see it suppressed, etc... all these things can get something like truth and distort it. Just look at Plato's allegory of the cave, how even the senses can distort reality or truth.

I believe that the truth is hidden. Anything worth having requires diligent searching and seeking. To be uniformed requires no work (hence a lot of dumb individuals) but knowledge is for those who seek (ergo few intellectuals).

When it comes to spirituality there is no difference “You will find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jer 29:13

Definitely not. Look at all the citations in literature---Plato's parable about the cave, Goethe's last words on his deathbed, "The light!" and Edmund Rostand's play "Cycrano de Bergerac" which begins with "Light the lights"!

Truth is always associated with light.

Ah, but the truth shines a bright light, a guiding beacon in the darkness. It is in the cold, forbidding darkness where the lies and half-truths cower in fear and uncertainty.

I guess not.. but we can say that sometimes it is not what we want it to be so we drop it a blind eye!!

& sometimes it is so hard for us to believe, so we keep with what we want to believe..

It needs WISDOM to know the truth.. & Wisdom can be asked from God who gives everyone who asks him & gives generously too!
