Are there any guys how there that could handle being engaged to a girl for a long time, having a wedding in the court with only one witness, no bride in a white dress, no reception, no wedding gifts and no honeymoon? If there was a honeymoon would you be willing to devote most of your time to volunteer work or research?

Huh? I think you're on the wrong site. You should join a dating service.

Erin,

You sound a bit frustrated ...... You need a good "Honeymoon" ...

Most ladies seek the remarkable ..the memorable ... men just seek the honeymoon.

Yes there are men I know who have had the experiance you related ... with the exception of the homeymoon.

I know lots of men who would love to reasearch and volunteer to work on homeymoons.

If the man your describing is real ... he sounds like a classic work-a-holic .... and if he has no sence what so every of the importance to you of at least alittle romance .... trade up girl!
