According to Christian and Jewish mythology, all humanity is descended from 2 people, Adam and Eve. Jewish mythology adds an ex-wife for Adam, BEFORE Eve. Anyone know her name, or why she was kicked out of Eden and exiled away from humanity?

Lilith was her name. And yes, JonJon418, I was referring to the legend of Lilith getting angry because she wanted to be on top, and the superior minded Adam would not allow her.
Imagine a seperation because a guy was too prideful to let a woman be on top every once in a while. Pathetic, this mythological Adam was.

Lilith. Usually the legend involves this Mesopotamian she-demon visiting Adam at night and conceiving demons of the "spilth of his dreams." (Early wet dream explanation.)
But you're probably thinking of the medieval legend in which Lilith, as Adam's first wife, got all pissy when he wanted to be on top during sex. So she left the Garden in a huff, and then God made the more properly submissive Eve as a consolation prize.
P.S. To the guy who says he's never heard of christianity being referred to as mythology - that's just because you obviously know nothing of history, anthropology, archaeology, or anything else, I'll wager.

Don't think I have ever heard of Christianity referred to as mythology before - new one on me - and I have never heard also that Adam had a previous wife - which according to Christianity is not believeable!@
