giant pandas would be muy expensive, since china's the only government that has them, and you'll need to be either the head of a country or be willing to pay top top dollar for one. green lizards won't cost much at all. your local pet store probably sells them for about 5-10 dollars apiece.

Interesting question, if you mean Green iguana, then not much at all. there are so many iguanas in rescues looking for good homes, and to buy a baby at a pet shop it is $20. as For a Giant Panda, they are endangered species and I'm sure theres some kind of permit you must attain to be able to care for one. Why dont you do some research? Any ordinary person can't just build a cage in their backyard, put a panda in it, and call it a zoo. There are many things you must do to have permision to attain the panda, and then you must work hard to find one that is available.

First of all, no zoo would try to display these two in the same cage, so you'd build two seperate habitats in your building. (Of course, no good zoo would put these two, and only these two in one building- zoos try to have logic for what they do.)
The lizard habitat would be easy- warm, humid, no big deal, a couple thousand bucks for the construction and outfitting of a room about the size of a big closet.
The panda habitat, however, would have to be big. You'd need a den area, a 'medium range' zone for it to spend most of its time in, and ideally, a long range zone for it to run and work out in.
You'd need to both heat and cool the den and medium range to keep it in the right temp range. You'd need a seperate 'holding pen' you can use to hold the animal for examinations and when cleaning other areas. you'd need the appropriate safety locking systems- double doors and double locks between each zone. You'll need full-time keepers on staff, as well as a team of vets available 24/7.
You'll need a constant supply of fresh bamboo- probably growing it in the long range area of the cage as well. I am not sure the Chinese government will let you keep a single panda, so you'll need to double all of the requirements.
You'll need to plumb the cage for fresh water, rig up ways to clean the cage, provide proper innoculations for the pandas, train your staff, pay the Chinese government huge bucks for the animals and the permits, wine and dine their government for years to get permission to have your zoo evaluated for a possible animal, etc.
Our zoo (rated one of the best in the US) is going through this, and they have already invested huge bucks and they are just on a 'we'll see' list after several years of work.
All in all- there are better ways to spend your money!
