Sound like a laser printer with dirty hopefully not scratched drum. You may be able to clean it with long cotton buds & spirits. But be very careful or you may scratch the surface of the drum. However if the drum is scratched you need a new drum, but the price to replace may not be worthwhile, rather buy a new printer.

If it is bubble jet than it's just dirty.

You might need to run the printer utility program to clean the print head.

you may be running low on ink.
