We play 3 WRs and 2 RBs a week
WRs I currently have: steve smith, Reggie Brown, Reggie Williams, Santana Moss, and Matt Jones.
RBs I also have: D. Foster, and Ronnie Brown
Trade offer: Rudi Johnson, LJ Smith, and Keyshawn Johnson for
Steve Smith and Antonio Gates
What do you think? Tell me why?
I have been hurting all year at RB position, and my WRs are performing well even without S. Smith.
What should I do?
FYI: QBs Rex Grossman and Matt Leinart
Kickers: R. Gould and N. Kaeding
Defense: Kansas City

Go for it! Anytime you can get a first rounder without seriously crippiling your teams chances you should do it. You're probably giving up a 2nd and a 5th rounder for a 1st rounder. You'll get good production from LJ smith to take Gates spot (who has underperformed this season) and Rudi Johnson will get you at least twice as much production over D. Foster.

I would not accept this trade and I would stick it out with Foster and Brown. Here is why....
The Bengals D is not a great defense which will put the Bengals behind or in a shootout more often than not, this does not favor in your direction if you were to have Rudi b/c that takes away carries, yds, and TD's. Rudi is not having a great year so far and with the way they have been playing I dont see him getting much better. This week he will face a tough run defense in the Carolina Panthers.
Thats the only real reason I would not do it, plus the fact that Steve Smith is one guy you NEVER want to trade. Moss isnt having a great year and neither is Matt Jones. Plus Antonio Gates is Rivers go to guy when he is able to open up the playbook and pass more often. LT can do alot but he cant do it all, so Rivers has to accept some responsibility and that favors Gates production.
Now ur hurting with Ronnie Brown...I would put a pkg together that included S. Moss and M. Leinart for a back such as Tatum Bell, Julius Jones, Clinton Portis or a back of that nature who will get you production (and another player of course). Thats what I would do but thats just me...

No way I would do this trade. You are hurting at RB but you need to find some other way to get one. You are giving up the best receiver and the best TE in the game. LJ Smith is a red zone threat but Antonio Gates is a much bigger one and gets a lot more catches. Steve Smith is a threat to take it to the house any time he catches it. Keyshawn Johnson has 2 TD's this year, I see him getting maybe 2 more. Smith also has 2 TD's but has only played 3 games and already has 31 catches.
Talk to the other person and ask him if he would take any other receiver on your team and it will be fair.

Well even though at first it kind of looks good, I still would not! I have all those except Reggie. I would stick with what you have. Rudi is a good RB, but Keyshawn is going to run into some serious issues if there QB gets hurt again, and he is injury prone. I have Foster and Brown, believe me I know brown is about to bust out man!! He is a sleeper that you a and you will see it when it happens this week. Also Foster has done very well for me, I have Warrick Dun to so I do not start brown.

No way. Your giveing way too much. You are loseing Gates and Smith. The best at there position people. Lets look at it this way... LJ and Keyshawn for Gates doesnt really fly.
and Smith For Johnson a loss once again and hold out for a bit better. Now if you are in Dire need of an RB. Its not as bad of a trade but he is still comeing out on Top (I assume he does not really need Rubi)
I would not do it but up to you...

WRs: Steve Smith, Reggie Brown, and Santana Moss. Those are your best WRs. Reggie is spotty and Jones just isn't at the same level.
What do you think about your RBs? Losing Steve Smith and Gates are big loses. But Rudi is a nice pickup. I think this trade benefits the other guy better.

just lookin there i would def. do this trade Rudi Johnson is one of the leading rushers in the NFL right now and he gets in the endzone and doesn't have to worry about splitting carries with anyone....LJ smith is always a redzone option for the Eagles and he even goes deep for them on regular plays as well as you've seen so far this year...keyshawn johnson is also a solid receiver who sees action b/c of the double teams on steve smith, but steve smith has always been able to get open no matter how many guys are on him. i still like your rb's you have now in foster and brown, but if those are your only two rb's then i would do the trade no questions asked just so you have a 3rd rb to choose from.....it's a fair trade in my mind youa re getting 3 starters to which are number 1 guys and keyshawn the number 2 reciever..

I would keep Gates. He will get big numbers now that Rivers is allowed to throw.
If you're strong at WR without Smith and struggling at RB, try and make the trade with S. Smith for R. Johnson.

even with the actuality that Tory Holt is undesirable this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days because of the fact of a foul Offensive Line and QB themes, and you would be getting T.O., Peterson is the terrific RB interior the league and Kevin Smith is close to to a 2d string RB (Rudi Johnson could be commencing over him). do no longer do the commerce. =P

might be a good idea since you only have two rb's.. and you might need a backup if either ronnie brown or deshaun foster gets hurt
but still.. how can you give up two studs like steve smith and antonio gates? i dunno man.. i wouldn't do it
