I used to watch that all the time in both B&W and color... it was funny back then, probably politically incorrect now!!!

I do not think that anyone of F-troop knew the directions because they were always screwed up. I could not tell you either- probably West...

Do you think the F in F-Troop had a hidden meaning to it? Like F***ed-up Troop? I always wondered about that! I'm sure it really meant Funny Troop but you never know!!

I forget the right and the left directions, but the directions from Fort Courage to the Hekawi camp went like, take a left at rock that looks like bear and a right at bear that looks like rock. Source is one of the episodes, but I don't know which one.
