I usually don't like to pay a recurring cost for games but I'm thinking of taking the plunge.

The Subscription options for World of Warcraft (in U.S dollars) are as follows:

1 month: $14.99 *
3 months: $41.97 ($13.99 per month) *
6 months: $77.94 ($12.99 per month) *
60-day Prepaid Game Cards

* Please note that the 3-month and 6-month subscriptions must be paid in full at the beginning of the billing cycle and depending on your location there might also be a subscription tax applied to the standard fee.

It costs about $15 depending on the kind of account you get. If you get the platnum account then it costs like $30 a month. That's the account that my friends got.

I think the normal account is $15 though.

It's 15 bucks a month but to lotrfan I've never heard of a "platinum" account in which you pay $30 a month and I've even played in the closed beta =/ Are you sure they don't just pay 2 months at a time? ;) thnx

14.99 per month if you pay by the month, and goes down to 12.99 per month if you pay for a longer time all at once, and it's 29.99 for 2 months if you buy a 60 day card from Wal*Mart or anywhere else that sells the cards
