Well, if they have nuclear weaponry then, yes they are a threat to advanced countries. Even still, with just conventional weaponry, the fact that they are a hop, skip, and a jump away from well over 100,000 coalition troops should be scary enough. If allowed to proliferate or continue a proliferation program unchecked, Iran could be big trouble--think "North Korea". Unfortunately, Iran does not seem to be a huge priority for Bush either.
Any one in this day and age willing to develop nuclear weaponry, has nothing good in mind. Including US

Iran can threaten all they like. They won't carry it out though. It would definitely be to their peril and they would be the losers in this one.
