Funny you should mention that!
My German grandfather gave me one a few years ago at Christmas. Why do grandparents always give you useless stuff? Apparently it was a leaving pressie when he left the German infantry. Guess Nazis don't do carriage clocks.
Anyway, I haven't even taken it out of the box it's just sat in my garden shed along with the foot spa and a couple of Noel Edmund's style circa swapshop era jumpers.
