masturbation is the safest form of sex....that is if you are doing it to yourself...if you are doing it with someone who has genital herpes, then thats a bad idea, it can spread to you very easily....

As long as you know your hand very well and know where it has been you should be safe. If you are still concerned about S.T.D's then go to the hospital or your doctor's office and tell them you need some of the latex gloves because you are trying to prevent yourself from giving yourself a S.T.D.
Always remember the rule, when ever you have sex with someone you are also having sex with the last 7 people they had sex with. So be sure your hand is safe. If the right hand has been a floozy then talk to your left hand and see where it has been. Better safe than sorry, I always say.

Of course masturbation is safe. It's safe for men or women. People have been doing this since the beginning of mankind. How could it possibly cause STD, unless of course you just took your hand off of or out of someone infected. So long as your hands are clean, there is 0% chance of STDs. Enjoy!

If you are masterbating alone, then there is no way to cause an STD, unless you are female using toys and those toys have been used by someone else prior to your use and they were infected with an std.
