This is an interesting question. I was out looking for love and dating all sorts of people and never found anything and if I did it ended badly, so I decided to give up and just enjoy being single. Then when I least expected it, I met a great guy. I was working as a waitress and he was a customer, when he got ready to leave he gave me his card and I emailed him the next day. We started talking and we are coming up on a year together. We are looking to build a house and get married. I would say, stop looking, when the time is right, Mr. Right will find you. I am a strong believer in fate, because I wasn't suppose to even work that night and he had never been in the place. I have always been told, that everything works that happens, happens for a reason. Good luck!!

An old cliche states: You don't get what you don't ask for. I think there is some truth to that. If you want someone to love and to cuddle with - I think the best course is to be out there looking for that person. Time is waisting. You only live once and there are no redos. So get out there and go for it. Worst case scenario if you follow this advice is that you will have a lot of fun looking.

Don't wait... go out and get what YOU want out of life! Do you wait around for a great job to show up? No, of course not, you go looking for it. So do that if you want a mate!!

If you have a look on your face like looking for love it will show and guys will see that as being desperate. Just be yourself and like the single life. Once you do this I bet love will be there for you.

I suppose waiting would be the most sensible. But the important thing is to be aware, so when love does show up, you won't miss it.

In general, you really don't have to look that hard (it's usually under the bed or in the closet).

Seriously, just be open and receptive to other people. It'll happen when it happens. It's almost always false when it's forced.
