I have been with my husband for 10yrs and love him very much. But, here lately I would rather be with "myself" than commit to the act with him. I don't know why I am very much aroused by him and he trys very hard. It's just that when we get started something tells me to stop and I become a desert! Can anyone shed some light on this for me please? Oh and we have 4 kids too if that helps.

First of all you know your body better than your husband, so when you masturbate you know exactly what to do, when to do it and how to do it. Your husband on the other hand, will try what work the last time and most likely that will not be what you want. You need to teach him what you know, of course he want be an expert like you but, he will have an idea of what to do, just guide his hand and talk him through it.

YOur inner conscience is speaking to you. He might be currently into to something where he doesn't deserve you right now. Don't worry, it is just a passing thing, or maybe sex has gotten too redundant and needs to be spiced up a little. Anyway, you'll both work throught this and everything will turn out okay.

That's odd...even though I enjoy pleasing myself it really doesn't quite compare to the real thing! Maybe try new things, some toys or lotions and spice it up. After being with someone for awhile sometimes things become too routine.

I've been married 20 years - Maybe you need to "daydream" about your husband a little all day - thinking about what it's like to be with him - then take time to be "close" before you actually "commit the act" as you call it.

Having four young children in the home can have a detrimental psychological effect in your sex life. A vacation without the children, even just a long weekend, may be just the answer to reviving the libido.

It could be some resentment. You could be just to used to the quick fix. you should stop taking care of yourself for awhile and see if that helps. If you are verry aroused and you have to depend on him for that satisfaction then you might get back into it.

You might just be bored. You need to tell him what you want and what you like. Nothing is better then sex with someone else. He is not doing something right in the bedroom. It is up to you to make that happen by being honest with him.

You could be stressed out, tired, over sexed, bored.

When you get in the mood, try to keep up with it. Introduce new things, (dress up, toys, games)
And try not to take it too hard. the more you worry about it, the less you wanna do something about it.

When you masterbate you control the speed and can get the act over when you want.

Your hubby isnt hitting the right spots, its time to show him how.

Do you think he is cheating and cant enjoy sex because of that.

Do you worry about getting him off so it takes pleasure away from you.

Is he rough?

Would you like him to be rougher
