Help to find a site to get an120 gig external hardrive to use for djing.?

whats the reason some have there own electric supply.Does it make a diference to the performance.thanks

probably wouldn't work without the electric supply.
the best solution though is to buy one with an included electric supply, test it with and without the power plugged into it.
