I've never tried to lose weight before. But recently I decided to start hitting the gym to lose some water weight. My goal was 5 lbs. And I've lost it! And it only took 4 weeks. I am really surprised at this as people have always said how hard it is to lose weight. Is it easy for you to lose weight?

5 lbs. isn't a lot! I'm happy you got it off!

Many folks prefer to make excuses as to why they can't lose weight!
In very few cases are their excuses valid as most of us know!

In most cases if a person truly wants to lose weight, they can! Many forget (depending on the amount of weight) they didn't put it on over night and they will not take it off over night! If they stick to it, I think they can plan on losing 100 lbs. per year!

If you stick to a regime then it is easy to lose weight.
The problem is sticking to it and not going back to your old ways. The best thing is to do everything in moderation, eat lower fat food, get out and about more, and don't drink too much.

i have lost 5lbs in 5 days before just by drinking lots of water and cutting back to 1500 calories a day....as long as i get my mind right and stick to a plan i can lose weight easy

It's not easy for anybody. You need to work hard. Don't be lazy. You need to want it badly! Don't just quit and let youself go, nor should you do anything extreme like not eat or stick your fingr down your throat. Even if you like to eat there are things you can eat a ton of and not gain an oz. Research it. You have to care.

Its very difficult for me. I have VERY large appetites for many things. I think that buying less food and buying lower calorie foods is one way to do it. Keep reducing your food budget till the weight is gone maybe. I can lose weight if I really try.

Maybe give the saved money to a hungry person.

it is easy to lose weight when you frist start, but it does get harder. 5lbs is not a lot if weight to lose so luckily you have lost it b4 it has got 2 difficult.

it's easy to lose but easier to gain it back. the hard bit is to maintain at your ideal weight.
