Many reasons. for example:
1. the riots over a cartoon.
2. beheading innocent people
3. killing of others, such as the Nun for what the Pope said in his speech.
4. The Prophet owned people, slaves, concubine! Why if the religion is so right, they why would the prophet own people.
5. The Prophet bought more than let go slaves, and when he did let them go, he either used them to tread the muslim prisoner, or gave them away as gifts to friends.
6. the prophet breaks his own rules. Married more than four wives. Do as I say, not as what I do.
7. because of all the wars that he caused. 67, only one of them was for self defense.
8. Islam is not a religion of Peace. Unless you mean Peace for the Muslim people only, then Yes it is.
9. Because Muslims want to convert the whole world to Islam.
10. because if a Muslim convert to other religions, they are accused of insulting Islam, and they are imprisoned, and many times killed.
11. because there is no freedom of religion in Islam
12. Because if you are not with them, they consider you against them.
13. because if you say anything they didn't like, they claim that you insult their religion, and riots, burn, and kill.
14. because there are no mircales in Islam. Muhammad was asked to do any miracles, and he never did. He use to say that the Quran is the miracle.
15. because Muslim think if you are not Muslim, then you will not go to paradis no matter how much good a person you are. That is not fair. Why would a Muslim person who sinns can go to paradise, where as a person who is an infedil will not? prejudice.
16. because there is not such thing as Islam being the only true religion. If it is, then why would a person kill an innocent person for the name of Islam! that makes islam look bad.
17. because the Quran has many mistakes in it, but you refuse to see them.
18. because the Quran has contridiction, but you don't know about them, or refuse to see them.
19. because as you said it has not change, which is not true. People who lives in the 1400 are not the same as the people who are living today. So, we have to change with the times, and Islam doesn't want to that. I could be wrong on this one, but that is how it looks like.
20. because I read the Quran
21. Because I know how a many can hit his wife to teach her how to behave, as if he is perfect and can never do wrong, and she is nothing more than a servant to him.
22. You mentioned the extremists! The extremist will do their deeds, and you the non extremist will not speak against it. You just sit be and say nothing. Unless someone may say something that you consider as an insult to your religion then you will come out and speak out against that.
23. because for example, the three girls who got their head chopped off by Muslims for not being Muslims and no Muslims came out rioting against it, or said a think about it.
I have many more. but I will end it with this.
24. because I believe people should LIVE AND LET LIVE. You can be a Muslims, and I don't want to be one, because Islam is not for me. Thank you. and God Bless you whoever you are.
25. What makes you think that Islam is the only right religion on earth? from the look of it, it is not. If it was then the Muslim country should be in a great shape, not many of them live in a poverty state. Either controlled by their own Imams, or their own government, or by those who act Holier than thu and they are themselves covered with sinns.

Ask a balanced question and you might get a balanced answer. I sense a slight bias in the way you've worded it... You are really going to have to deal with the fact that people hold, and will always hold, different beliefs to yourself. It is called freedom of thought. It is called diversity. Embrace it rather than castigating it. You can preach until you're blue in the face- you wont convert everyone. Sorry. That's life. People are different. And surely you're intelligent enough to know that claiming your religion is the only 'right' religion is deliberately provocative and offensive to others' beliefs. That's not seeking paradise for others. That's aiming to incite and offend. I think you know that. And wanting everyone in the world- happy, content people- to convert to your faith because they are wrong and you are right IS an extreme view. I merely point these things out for your consideration...

I don't want to go into what I think about the founder of Islam and who actually wrote the Koran. I think every religion prevents some people from changing it with another religion. What prevents Penis Clinton from entering Islam might be its tough laws about sex and adultery. And what prevents Mad Albright from doing so might be the face covering common among Muslim women.

Nearly every religion believes they are the "right" one. To a point I agree. I have read the Qu'raan, and the Bible, and many other religious texts and the basic principles are fairly close in each - especially in the mainstream religions. What amazes me is not that people have not chosen Islam, but that people believe that choosing matters. I'm a firm believer that all gods are one and that living your life by what is right is what gets you into whatever you want to call the afterlife. When I say that, I'm speaking general, basic principles, *NOT* details. (ergo: I don't think badgering others into conversion, or rising against homosexuals gets your brownie points) Paradise belongs to those in whose hearts exist love and peace, how you express that matters little.

i don't think it is right to say that Islam is the only right religion on earth. you know what, everybody thinks that their religion is the most righteous. don't ask how or why. what i'm trying to say is that everyone is entitled to believe whatever they want to believe. you may not understand it but that's how things are. That is why not everybody wants to enter Islam. That's the same as asking yourself what prevents you from entering another religion since it is the only right religion on earth. get it?

TRUTH!
The Bible foretold that after the death of the apostles, wrong teachings and unchristian practices would slowly come into the Christian congregation. Men would draw away believers to follow them instead of Christ. (Matthew 7:15, 21-23; Acts 20:29, 30) That is why we see so many different religions that claim to be Christian. How can we identify true Christians?
The most outstanding mark of true Christians is that they have real love among themselves. (John 13:34, 35) They are not taught to think that they are better than people of other races or skin color. Neither are they taught to hate people from other countries. (Acts 10:34, 35) So they do not share in wars. True Christians treat one another as brothers and sisters.—1 John 4:20, 21.
Another mark of true religion is that its members have a deep respect for the Bible. They accept it as the Word of God and believe what it says. (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) They treat God's Word as being more important than human ideas or customs. (Matthew 15:1-3, 7-9) They try to live by the Bible in their everyday life. So they do not preach one thing and then practice another.—Titus 1:15, 16.
True Christians love one another, respect the Bible, and preach about God's Kingdom
The true religion must also honor God's name. (Matthew 6:9) Jesus made God's name, Jehovah, known to others. True Christians must do the same. (John 17:6, 26; Romans 10:13, 14) Who are the people in your community that tell others about God's name?
True Christians must preach about God's Kingdom. Jesus did so. He always talked about the Kingdom. (Luke 8:1) He commanded his disciples to preach this same message in all the earth. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20) True Christians believe that only God's Kingdom will bring true peace and security to this earth.—Psalm 146:3-5.
Jesus' disciples must be no part of this wicked world. (John 17:16) They do not get involved in the world's political affairs and social controversies. They avoid the harmful conduct, practices, and attitudes that are common in the world. (James 1:27; 4:4) Can you identify a religious group in your community that has these marks of true Christianity?

does someone have to choose a religion? cant people adapt there lives to morals that may be from different religions? i personally dont follow any particular religion, but that doesnt mean im not spiritual or have no morals, i dont think there is any right or wrong religion-its about personal choice and what is right for that individual, i feel as though if i was to be religious id end up 'breaking' too many rules and letting that 'god' down. sometimes in life its difficult enough learning from mistakes that we have made, by judging ourselves or feeling guilty, and having to overcome that by having faith in your own conviction and realising that you can still be peaceful and loving, and that your not a 'bad' person for having made mistakes in the past. if we live our lives knowing we have tried our best and done our best for people we have come across then we know we are good people really, without any religion!!!! knowone can really judge anyone else without looking a little closer at there own lives, thats why we have freedom of speech, choice in life etc..... there is no handbook for how to live our lives, we have to set our own standards in life otherwise were at risk of letting too many people down!!!

you obviously haven't read or understood the Koran.
1. Say : O ye that reject Faith!
2. I worship not that which ye worship,
3. Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
4. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,
5. Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
6. To you be your Way, and to me mine.
read and understand your own holy book before you try to convert the world. mind you i have read it and it didn't strike me as a religion of peace and love, indeed it didn't make a lot of sense at all. it hasn't changed since it was put together because there was a strict stipulation that it shouldn't be changed after it was compiled. it always struck me as strange that the prophet never thought to have his message written down, but relied on people remembering what he was supposed to have said after his death. that's being pretty careless with the supposed word of god.

There is no ONE RELIGION that is RIGHT for everyone. If the Christians and Muslims would quit trying to convert people and leave other people to their own belief system, most of the wars in the world would go away.

How can you prove it?
Are you nuts?
The most unique religion is humanity
You had to write so long to advocate Islam.
But I need no words.
It's proved.
You also know it,
whether you admit it or not...
