I'm in Northern New Jersey and the temperature is 67 degrees but with pouring rain. I use to live in Pflugerville and Austin TX for 6 years. The entire time I was there it was always hot or raining or just cool. I'm originally from NJ but I left to go to Texas for the sunshine. So I can imagine you waking up to 45 degrees and being very surprised.

It was 43 in North Texas. I didn't want to turn my heat on yet but I broke down and did.

here in London was 15 degrees celcius..it's gettin cold cos Summer was finished and Autumn's here...duh!
