The likes of Sir Alan Sugar and many of this countries self-made millionaires left school without any qualifications.
They got where they are today through attitude and aptitude rather the possession of a qualification.
You acn be a success without being formally educated.
But if by your comments you imply that kids learn "behaviour" from their parents and the parents are "lazy scroungers" then thats probably what the kids will learn.
Hard work and success takes more guts than brains.

To comment on that...My best friend home schooled her kids until they were in high school...The 2 girls and the oldest son where offered to skip 2 grades there mother said no because they needed to interact with children there own age so all 3 of them are now in honors classes!

What about the children who work really hard in school, but happen to have real bad luck when it comes to jobs? I worked really hard in school but had problems at home and with bullying, i have trouble keeping jobs and now, to top it off, I may not have enough money to help support my husband and first child.... But i was schooled from year R to Sixth form and went to college and i've been on the dole.
so explain that?

What's the point of this pseudo-question?
Are you trying to get people mad at Sarcasticquotemarks? Do you agree with her opinion? Do you disagree?
Perhaps you've taken offense because you're on the dole or you didn't go to school. It's impossible to tell.
Can you elaborate or share with us what it is you'd like to know?

I home educated my eldest son and when the Educational Officer visited, she told me to do less with him, as he was two years beyond his counterparts!! I love the British educational system so much I moved to France!!

I take it you didn't go to school? If you had, you might have known to put the apostrophe in sarcasticquotemarks' name!
