cant i get zinc sulphate...coz when copper oxide reacts with sulphuric acid copper sulphate forms...

ZnO + H2SO4 ---> ZnSO4 + H2O
zinc oxide + sulphuric acid ---> zinc sulphate + water
this is a substitution reaction
Zn has a 2+ charge
O has a 2- charge
H has a 1+ charge
SO4 has a 2- charge
