Red peppers have way more Vitamin C than oranges. You'll find high levels of vitamin C in red berries, kiwifruit, red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, spinach, and juices made from guava, grapefruit, and orange.

Oranges are the best source, but most citrus fruits have lots of vitamin C. If you prefer you can drink orange juice, or other fruit juices.

Don't have too much though, it won't agree with you if you overdose, just a sensible amount each day.

Look out for the RDA for Vitamin C. 75mg for women and 90mg per day for men unless you are ill or pregnant in which case you should take more. The US/UK rda is under review and may increase soon, but if you use these amounts as a guideline, you should be fine.

Citrus fruits (oranges, grapefruits) are good sources, as are tomatoes, strawberries, potatoes, cabbage, broccoli.

Go to Google and type in the phrase "sources of vitamin C" for some good hits.

Vitamin C is water-soluble (can't be stored in the body) and needs to be replaced regularly, but you don't need whacking huge doses to keep you healthy, by the way.
