Its in good condition & I want to keep it that way but when I have friends in the car when giving a lift etc they light a cigaret up, as Im a non-smoker I hate this plus I don't want my new car to stink or get cigaret buns. I have hinted & but they took no notice.

Don't hint - tell them straight. Ask if anyone wants a cigarette before you leave, or if anyone wants to stop and have one on the way. It's your car, your petrol and as you're driving it's you that can't drink. Your friends need to be reasonable or get another lift!

The car will have cost you a few bob you will just have to come straight to the point and tell them NO SMOKING in my car you can wait till we get to the other end

I would personally do more than hint about them not smoking. It's not fair really so just tell them if they want a lift you don't want them smoking. If they get funny they're not really great mates. Just stand up for yourself and your new car.

Ask your friends not to smoke. If your a non smoker then that's reason enough, forget messing up the car they are messing up your health.

All of the above, plus remove the cigarette lighter and replace it with a blanking plug to cover the socket whe you don't need it for a phone charger etc.

Just put lots of no smoking signs on the mirror and headrests ..
If they ignore that buy a small car fire-extinguisher and blast them with it next time they light up :)
