Uh, partyboy is partially wrong...actually Torry Holt had the 3 TD game and 154 yards. Steve Smith had 1 TD and 189 yards.

Anyway, I think you can do this trade if you want to, just to shake things up. I think the receivers will be comparable stat-wise from here on out (barring injury), so I don't think either you or your trading partner is really gaining any advantage.

First i have Steve Smith in my league and i would not accept this trade if it was offered to me. You look at this and steve smith gets thrown the ball about 13 times a game if not more, and he is the better receiver for yards after the catch and has better moves i think then holt....you can't look at last weeks performance alone...Steve smith has been getting double covered for the past 3 years and still manages 150 yard games, torry holt is much the same but last week he played a seattle def. that is very weak against the pass def. while carolina played a strong team in balt. and steve smith still pulled off those numbers....i also feel that delhomme has the better arm and accuracy over bulger

I think Torry Holt is better. The guy does it year in and year out. He was out for 2 weeks last year and still ended up at the top of all receiving categories. The guy is a straight up beast. Steve Smith is the #2 WR in the NFL

no way. you know steves last game he had 3 TD's and over 180 yards! and on carolina he's always open (in real life) so steve smith for torry holt is a bad trade for u

No, Smith and Holt play the same position, and Smith is a better fantasy WR, so you reallly don't gain anything by making this trade.

why even make a trade like that? what are either of you gaining? think about it.. both are solid receivers

i dunno.. at this point.. steve smith is at the top of his game.. carolina is a totally different team without him.. so i WOULD NOT trade him.. nothing against holt cuz he's a great receiver too

Yes Holt is scoring more.

Probably not, Steve Smith is going to score more points, but he is injury prone. You can gamble and keep him, and if he stays healthy than your better with him.
