What is the best way to preserve gladioli bulbs.

After digging, some people hang them in onion or potato bags - those mesh bags you get produce in from the grocery. A dark cool place, such as an unheated basement.

Lift from the ground after the tops have dried, remove dead tops.
Put in dry dark place until spring comes around.
Dont store in air tight container, the more air movement the better.

I seperate and let them dry in the nice warm sun then store them in the winter in a ndry place and replant in April

In colder climates, dig, dry, and put in basement or somewhere dark.
