is spotting when the egg attaches it self???or is it when im already preg????if it was spotting should I have gotten a pos test this morning???my last period was sep 25

When the egg implants into the uterus lining it's called implantation. Sometimes it causes bleeding, which is known as implantation bleeding. Not every woman has bleeding though. Your body starts producing the hcg hormone when implantation occurs. An hpt is designed to test for the hcg hormone. However, if the hcg level is too low, you will get a false negative. Your hcg level doubles about every 2-3 days. If you just spotted yesterday and you lmp was 9/25 you probably tested too early. Wait a week and test again.

You would not have necessarily gotten a positive test. Some spotting is implantation bleeding, which means that the egg has attached itself to the uterus. Your body may not even know that you are pregnant yet if it was implantation bleeding.

ur periods r on 25th as u mentioned today is only 20th .so wait and test again if u miss ur period .may be that day ull get + ve result if ur pregnent.some tests will not detect hcg till the date u miss ur period .u test it again after some days ,then also if u get - ve then go to doc and ask her to do blood test which is more accurate than urine test.good luck to u

You can spot for all sorts of reasons. It could be early to tell if you are pregnant but it's possible. Go visit your doctor to find out for sure.
