After his totally irresponsible smoking of a joint on tv I'm starting to grow tired of his behaviour. What does it say to youngters?

I actually feel for the guy. He's obviously a deeply troubled individual and the papers are just making his situation worse. He has been one of the worlds biggest stars for 20 years. Real A list. But his mother and boyfriend died and he has been a bitter old queen ever since then. I often feel the papers are trying to drive him over the edge.

Lol, sorry but he was a role model to my sister way back from his Wham days. She never touched stronger than a Bacardi in her life.
To me he would be on par with cocaine-snorting children TV presenters and anorexic super models with a cocaine habit.
Not to mention the Graham Norton thing. Or the Top Gear geezer with a few gears less of brain capacity? Some will never get their kick from drugs but go for torque instead. Since when are celebrities supposed to be role models?
What do you say to youngsters? Get an education, go to uni. Join the rat race, get a mortgage. And learn to make up your own mind.
I think had he smoked a joint in my sister's younger years (she's 34 now :-) she would have been disgusted and gone right of him. I think the youngsters that will be influenced negatively have long ago made up their mind which side of the coin they prefer.

It says: "You should feel free to smoke a joint out in the open, if you so desire." Frankly, I don't think there's anything wrong with that message. I do, however, take umbrage in the fact that he can't stay awake behind the wheel.

If he's gonna go out in public, he obviously needs to hire a cheauffeur before he runs someone over.

It is NOT a good example to set to youngsters, but I don't think that many youngsters care what George Michael does as he's yesterdays news. He has maybe felt that he missed out on his teenage years of going out, getting drunk/stoned every weekend and is trying to make up for it now.

I know I'd never of dreamt of cottaging (public toilet sex) or smoking joints if it wasn't for him. I was also straight throughout the 90's too, until he changed his preferences.

Most youngsters wouldn't even know who he is anyway - I think Pete Doherty would be the one most of the young ones know and he is far worse than GM...........
