I have to agree that this means that YOU are demanding that YOU pay attention to the dream content.
> Though personal experience I have learned that some repetitive dreams are sublimated memories that the psyche is now ready to deal with. Of course, those dreams did not stop at three repetitions.
> I have had dreams three nights in a row that did not repeat after the three nights. These seemed more immediate - like issues of the day, but not trivial. A rather creative way of getting my attention, I believe, since nightmare no longer get to me once I learned to confront the 'monster' in the dream and demand payment from him (in the form of a gift or information).

It depends on your dream. If you watch 3 horror movies 3 night in a row, that means highly and likely you will dream 3 nights in a row.

If they are the same dream, you may have unresolved issues. It all depends on the dream

It means your subconscious is trying to tell you something.

There's a great book on how to interpret your dreams called "Inner Work" by Robert Johnson. He explains how to examine every element in your dream, figure out what each one means to you, and how to put it together into a message that your mind is trying to tell you.
