The wipers switch and sprayer does not work, and I have a new switch to put on. I was told it would cost $200 to put it on, and that I could do it myself with the proper tools. But how? Need some quide steps.

There are three screws that secure the upper and lower halves of the steering column. But before that you may need to remove the ignition lock cylinder. To do this, turn the key to the "RUN" position, stick a pick or something suitable into the access hole on the lower half of the column, compress the lock tab and pull the ignition lock cylinder with the key in it outward. You may also need to remove the column tilt lever, but depending on the shape of the knob, it might slide out over the lever. Like the other post states, there are two screws that secure the multifunction switch to the column. Installation is just reverse of removal. Hope this helps.

The plastic covers around the steering column need to come off. there is an upper and lower half. The multi function switch is help in place with 2 bolts. Remove them. Slide out the old switch and reverse the process. Also before doing anything disconnect the battery.

First, you disconnect the battery so the airbag doesn't kill you. You need to take the steering wheel off. Not that easy to do.
Get a Clymers or Haynes manual for the car. It's better that listening to some yahoo on Yahoo. It will be the best $20 you ever spent.
