Well, like many others I bet, I didn#t know Yahoo! had an auctions site. So they wouldn't of made any money off me anyway.

I think they have a strategic partnership as it goes. So, they didn't "lose" the market to eBay, they anticipated it, figured out their best move, and probably cut loads of costs, upped advertising revenue and moved on...
