Lots of nosey people [spys and such] can join in and watch what any of us say over a few weeks and have a fuller understanding of how we work together to undo all their hard work, spying on us at our own expense.

Maybe they decided to conduct an experiment and see how many people they could get to answer and ask silly questions. Either that or their proba nosey and gossip mags just isn't enough for them :)
