I doubt it. The steel toes are inside the boot, between the layers of leather. You'd have to cut the leather away to get at it, and it would probably really look ugly afterward.

hi im currently trying to do this to some boots i got.i wouldnt cut the leather on the out side.i can feel the steel cap now with my hand .there is a lineing you have to take off most boots on this inside that stops your foot rubbing against it.also you might have to remove the carboard under the insole. which is called the sole i think. but yeah feels like a chisel could take it out.cheers and good luck

No because they have little pointed things on them that goes into the leather. If you removed them it would put holes in the boots.

Yes, caps are an add on to the boot, if you mean something other than caps, probably not .

it is a feature of the shoe when manufactutred so little could be done in order to re use the shoe for wearing
