Turn the blue tooth on (using the find me) feature under connections (on your phone)
Go into her multimedia folder (where her ringtones are stored), select the one you want, then hit the menu and select the option for "copy".
Once it starts to copy, it will search for the nearby bluetooth devices, once it finds your phone, it will send it right to you.
Good luck!
Oh, of course, this will only work if BOTH of you have blue tooth enabled phones.

first of both phones have to have bluetoooth.not all phones allow you to use an mp3 as a ringtone. i had a samsung t809 and it was an mp3 phone and it didnt allow me to do that. I have a sidekick 3 now and thats an mp3 phone too and Im having the same problem. So find out first if itll allow you to use it .I know motorola phones and nokia phones can work. also if she bought the ringtone you wont be allowed to transfer it because itll be locked and cant be moved out of the phone. hope this helps

By bluetooth but some ringtones are protected and can't be transfered- one way to force people to buy them I guess.

You can make your own free ringtones at this website -
http://www.phonesherpa.com/home.aspx?af_id=011B433361
You dont need to enter any credit card information, and you dont need any cables either. It is really easy and fun and you dont have to sign up for anything. They wont send you text messages either.
