Usually weather is predicted through a combination of things. 1. You can use Climatology to get an idea of the average weather conditions for the current time of year. 2. you can also determine what kind of weather patterns are in the region and figure out their affects on the location and whether they will bring rain, cold weather, heat, or nice sunny days. 3. Generally when pressures are low its going to rain, when pressures are high it will be nice and sunny.

I have a friend that lives 50 miles north of me, another 50 miles south, another 50 miles east and one more 50 miles west.

When I wake up, I see the direction the weather vane on my local church is blowing.

Say its blowing south. I call my mate 50 miles north and ask "what's the weather like there?"

Whatever weather he's got, I'll have in an hour or two.

Unless the wind changes......

Some people look a cow in the a$s, others make difficult calculations and some just make up stories.
And most of the time the weather don't listen.

look out of the window, if the sky is blue it's going to be sunny, if it's a dull grey colour but with bright patches it'll be cloudy, if the trees are moving the wind is blowing, and if it's a dark grey colour it's going to rain..trust me I work selling ice cream and have to predict the weather to know if i'm going to work

I have a large rock by my front step. If the rock is dry, the weather's clear. If the rock is wet, it's raining.
