because, quite frankly, what younis does, impresses me more.

but seriously...ghandi never got a nobel because the british are to this day pissed about how he made a bunch of fools of them...
no selfrespecting son of the empire will allow that to happen, including those on the nobel comittee...

but back to younis... what he does, supporting small people in setting up businesses and building a future for themselves, instead of a stable full of kids in hopes one or two of them might survive long enough to dote on them in their old age... that is truly producing peace. not by inspiring words, not even by example... but by actually attacking the the sources of social unrest by the roots.

Because the prize committe thought Dr. Younis deserved it more than Ghandi did.
