Sure, Like a log cabin. Fill the pvc with insulation and use mortar between the pipes. I would use 8" SDR-35. It would probably cost twice as much to build but you would be the only one on the block with a PVC pipe house.

Installing a 200 amp service is a waste of money unless you are going to be using 200 amps of service. 10 Awg. is good for 30 amps. The calculation for the amperage drop for 200 feet of 10 Awg is 30 x . 8 is 24 amps. With your current set up, if you install 30 amp circuit breakers, you will have 24 amp service in the barn using existing wire. Plan your amperage / wattage draw accordingly. Keep in mind how many tools will be in use at one time. Lights, compressor and ? Add up your draw at one time to see if 24 amps will meet your needs. Lights, compressor and any power tools you might use at the same time the lights and compressor are on. Look on the devices for the wattage they need, add up the watts and divide by the volts to get Amperage. For example, Light bulb = 100 wats, Compressor = 1500 watts for a total of 1600 watts divided by 220 volts = 7.28 Amps. draw.

Of course, and there are people who built a house out of empty soda cans....!
The question is, do you get a building permit, and will you ever be able to sell it again....?
